The question I am most often asked is:

What’s the difference between coaching and exercise training?

so I created a short video to explain the difference.

Training, be it exercise, nutrition, or even meditation—is hands-on physical practice for your body and your brain. Coaching recruits your heart and mind to the game. We talk about your goals, your vision, and your values; then we tap into your intrinsic motivation—linking it to your personal and compelling vision of the real you.

Logistically, training happens in the gym (or home gym), in the pool, or with meditation—on the cushion. Coaching happens in the living room—literally, where we live.  Training can be done at your place or mine. Coaching sessions can be done at your place, my place, over the phone or via Skype.

 

How often do we meet?

Whatever works for you. Client meetings are typically more frequent at first, once or twice per week, and less frequent later—twice a month, then once a month, followed by periodic check-ins.

How much does it cost?

There are a lot of variables, including meeting frequency, location (your place, my place, Skype) and session length. Your plan is unique—unlike any other. Prices are quoted at initial consultation Habits are hard to change. I understand how difficult it can be, and I know there is no one size fits all program. Your journey is unique to you.
